Natural astaxanthin from the green algae Haematococcus pluvialis, combined with natural vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol). Astaxanthin is an intense red carotenoid produced by microalgae as a protection system against extreme environmental conditions. Pack of 30 capsules; two capsules a day provide a full 8 mg of active astaxanthin and 24 mg of natural vitamin E (200% NRV). Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Ingredients:
Sunflower Seed Oil, Bulking Agent (Glycerol, Modified Maize Starch), Gelling Agent (Carrageenan), Colour (Iron Oxide), Acidity Regulator (Sodium Carbonate), Astaxanthin (Haematococcus pluvialis Extract, Olive Oil, Antioxidant: Rosemary Extract), Vitamin E (Natural D-Alpha Tocopherol).

Per 2 capsules (daily dose):
• Natural Vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol): 24 mg (200% NRV*).
• Astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis): 8 mg.

Dosage:
• Adults: 2 capsules per day.
• The dose can be split (1 capsule with lunch + 1 capsule with dinner) or both capsules can be taken together with one of the main meals.

When to take them:
• ALWAYS with a meal that contains some healthy fat (avocado, virgin olive oil, nuts, oily fish, egg).
• Astaxanthin and vitamin E are fat-soluble: the presence of fat in the meal multiplies their intestinal absorption.
• If you take these capsules on an empty stomach or with only water, absorption will be much lower, and you will benefit less from the product.

How to take them:
• Swallow whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew (it is a soft capsule).

Usual guidelines:
• Continuous consumption for a minimum of 2-3 months to maintain stable levels in the body.
• Astaxanthin gradually accumulates in tissues (especially in the skin and eyes) — visible effects require consistency.

Synergies:
• The combination of astaxanthin + vitamin E is common in formulation: both are fat-soluble antioxidants that act on cell membranes.
• Vitamin E protects astaxanthin from the vegetable oil itself (prevents its oxidation inside the capsule).
