Pitted dates in 250g portions. Dates are one of the dried fruits with the highest concentration of natural sugars — very sweet, with a syrupy texture and natural caramel flavor. Ideal as a natural "candy," for energy balls, for sweetening smoothies, and as a substitute for refined sugar in homemade baking.

100% pitted dates (Phoenix dactylifera).

Although pitted, occasional fragments of pit may remain. Exercise caution when eating, especially with children.

May contain traces of tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, and gluten.

How to use

How to use them?
• One or two as a natural "candy."
• Stuffed with almond or peanut butter — a healthy snack.
• In homemade energy balls (dates + nuts + cocoa, all blended and rolled into balls).
• In the base of vegan brownies or tarts (blended, they replace sugar).
• To sweeten shakes and smoothies without using refined sugar.
• Stuffed with almond and wrapped in bacon — a traditional appetizer.

A useful tip: since they are so sweet, one or two per serving is plenty. If you are replacing sugar in baking, start with 4-6 dates per recipe.

Warning: check before giving them to small children in case any pit fragments remain.

How to store them: in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, transfer them to an airtight container to prevent them from drying out too much or softening from humidity. In the Canary Islands, especially in summer, the refrigerator helps them preserve better for longer.
