Food supplement in 90 tablets with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) at 1,000 IU (25 mcg) per tablet — 500% of the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV). This is a standard maintenance dose, frequently recommended for healthy adults without a demonstrated deficiency, especially during months with less sun exposure. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the normal functioning of the immune system.

Main ingredients:
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 25 mcg / 1,000 IU per tablet (500% NRV).

• 1,000 IU / 25 mcg Vitamin D3 per tablet (500% NRV).
• Standard maintenance dose (vs. Forte-D with 2,400 IU).
• Vit D is FAT-SOLUBLE.

Dosage (check packaging): usually 1 tablet daily with a meal.

Take with fat: vitamin D is fat-soluble. A meal with olive oil, nuts, avocado, or oily fish significantly improves absorption.

Best time: with the main midday meal or dinner.

Continuity: regular continuous use, especially in autumn-winter (less sun exposure) or in people with low sun exposure. Guidelines of 3-6 months with analytical reevaluation.

About the 1,000 IU dose:
• It is a standard maintenance dose suitable for healthy adults without demonstrated deficiency.
• In areas with high sun exposure (such as the Canary Islands), with good sun exposure (at least 15-30 minutes a day without sunscreen and with exposed skin), supplementation may not be necessary. The most appropriate: VITAMIN D ANALYSIS (serum 25-OH-vitamin D).
• For corrections of demonstrated deficiency, higher doses may be necessary under professional supervision (see Forte-D).

⚠️ WARNINGS:
• Hypercalcemia or tendency to high calcium levels: consult.
• Sarcoidosis or other granulomatous diseases: DO NOT take high doses of vitamin D without medical supervision.
• Medication: vitamin D may interact with digoxin, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids.
• Hyperparathyroidism: consult.
• Pregnancy and lactation: vitamin D needs are increased; there are specific recommendations for these stages. Consult.
