Food supplement with NATURAL vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol) in softgels. Natural vitamin E (D-alpha form) has approximately TWICE the effective bioavailability of the synthetic form (DL-alpha tocopherol or all-racemic). The body preferentially absorbs and retains the natural form. Softgels with vegetable oil as a carrier are the ideal format for this FAT-SOLUBLE vitamin. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative damage.

Main ingredients:
Natural Vitamin E (D-alpha tocopherol). Vegetable oil as a carrier.

To find out the amount per capsule with its %NRV and excipients, please refer to the packaging. Also, check if it includes mixed tocopherols (beta, gamma, delta) or only alpha.

⚠️ To verify that it is NATURAL and not synthetic, check that the packaging indicates 'D-alpha' (with a hyphen) or 'd-alpha'. If it indicates 'DL-alpha', 'dl-alpha', 'all-rac' or 'all-racemic', it is synthetic.

• Vitamin E is PHOTOSENSITIVE and oxidizes with light: opaque softgels protect it.

Dosage (check packaging): typically 1 softgel daily with a fat-containing meal.

Take with fat: vitamin E is FAT-SOLUBLE. Absorption significantly improves with olive oil, nuts, avocado, or oily fish.

Best time: with the main meal at midday or dinner.

Continuity: tissue accumulation is progressive. Regimens of at least 8-12 weeks.

⚠️ Medical warnings:
• ANTICOAGULANTS: high doses of vitamin E can enhance the effect of warfarin/Sintrom and antiplatelet agents (including aspirin). Consult first if you are taking these medications.
• Scheduled surgery: discontinue at least 2 weeks prior.
• Severe hypertension: very high doses (>400 IU/day for long periods) have been a subject of discussion in scientific literature. Consult.
• Pregnancy and lactation: consult.
